HP Compaq 8710w Mobile Workstation Infineon TPM Driver Publisher's Description

This package contains a standalone Infineon Trusted Platform Module (TPM) driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. 

NOTE: This standalone driver is intended for "lean" images (that is, images that do not include any value-added applications provided by HP) that do NOT install the HP ProtectTools Credential Manager (PTCRM) or the HP ProtectTools Embedded Security Manager (PTESM).

Fixes:
- Fixes an issue that occurred when installing the driver package on a notebook running a Microsoft Windows Vista Operating System, where the User Account Control (UAC) showed "unidentified Publisher."
- Fixes an issue that occurred on notebooks running the Microsoft Windows XP Professional Operating System and having Embedded Security for HP ProtectTools V5.01 installed, where the notebook stopped responding (hung) during shutdown.
